InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the opening of the newly-built 118-room Holiday Inn Piura hotel located in the coastal city of Piura, Peru.
The Holiday Inn Piura hotel is the company’s first brand to open in Piura, which is the business hub of Peru’s northern region.

Located in the heart of the city’s historic centre, the Holiday Inn Piura hotel is just steps from the Plaza del Sol shopping mall and 11 minutes from Capitán FAP Guillermo Concha Iberico International Airport (PIU).
The seven-storey hotel boasts an on-site business centre with three meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 137 guests.
Additional features include an outdoor pool, a restaurant and bar, and a complimentary 24-hour fitness centre.
Holiday Inn Piura is owned by Corporacion Hotelera Piura S A C and operated by Grupo Agrisal Division Hotelera. The hotel is part of IHG’s diverse family of brands in nearly 100 countries and territories.
Guestrooms have modern designs, including comfortable king-sized or two queen-sized high-quality beds with a choice of firm or soft pillows for the rest you deserve.
Additional features include a flat-screen TV, mini refrigerator, coffee machine with complimentary coffee, and a work desk with ergonomic chair. The hotel also has four suites for guests looking for additional room during their stay.
San Miguel de Piura was the first city founded in Peru by the conquistador Francisco Pizarro. The city retains a colonial flavour, and towns in and around Piura are supported by cotton gins and cottonseed-oil mills, in addition to various small manufacturing plants.
