InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the opening of the five-star voco Riyadh, the first voco hotel in Saudi Arabia’s capital city, in partnership with Wasata Al Wosta Real Estate Company.
The five star flagship property in the Kingdom underwent major redesigning and rebranding to launch under the voco brand.
As part of extensive renovations being carried out at the property, the five star hotel will feature a range of upscale signature voco hallmarks: warm and bright inviting interiors, modern artworks representing the voco character and personality.
The flagship voco hotel in the Kingdom offers guests a choice of 438 rooms and suites, each equipped with HD LED TVs and high-speed Wi-Fi.
The hotel also boasts a bridal suite and connecting family rooms available on request. Guests driving to voco Riyadh will benefit from ample parking, with 400 underground spaces available.
Located on King Fahad Road and just 30 minutes from the King Khaled International Airport, voco Riyadh is close to the city’s key commercial areas, business zones and landmarks including Kingdom Tower and the Embassy District.
A range of dining options offering regional and international cuisines will be served at the property’s restaurants, which include Indian, Italian, Lebanese, as well as an international all-day dining restaurant to cater to guests, in addition to the Cabana Pool Bar and Rotunda Lounge.
Business travellers can use an array of 22 meeting rooms at voco Riyadh,that can easily cater to a wide range of events and conferences.
The hotel also features a large ballroom which can accommodate more than 1,200 delegates.
The guests will also benefit from InterContinental Hotels Group Rewards Club programme – the first and largest guest loyalty programme in the hotel industry, offering sought-after benefits.

Currently, IHG operates 33 hotels across four brands in Saudi Arabia including: InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, Holiday Inn, and Staybridge Suites with a further 20 in the pipeline due to open within the next three to five years.
