Delta’s mark of excellence gets recognition in Latin America

For the third year in a row, LADEVI recognises Delta Air Lines with the Insignia Award for Excellence 2018 as the best global airline in Latin America and the Caribbean.

A Latin American travel media outlet, LADEVI, has recognised  Delta Air Lines with the Insignia Award for Excellence 2018.

Delta Air Lines, which scooped the award for the third year in a row, was also rated by LADEVI as the best global airline in Latin America and the Caribbean.

“Our board of directors evaluated Delta’s considerable improvements in passenger service on its routes to Latin America and the Caribbean, their commitment to continue investing in the region, the airline’s solid marketing strategies developed and the leadership of its executives,” said Alberto Lavalle, managing director of LADEVI.

“The Insignia Award for Excellence is the first and most important recognition in the travel and tourism industry, given in this region to highlight the best in service – a quality Delta demonstrates every day.”

LADEVI is the leading media outlet for travel agencies in Latin America and the Caribbean, with publications in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Equador, Mexico and Peru.

Delta provides service in 31 countries and 52 destinations in the region, offering more than 1,700 weekly flights between the United States and Latin America and the Caribbean.

In 2017, Delta launched a joint cooperation agreement with Aeromexico, creating the largest transborder alliance between Mexico and the US, a milestone in the history of aviation in the Americas.
